With a focus on live-action content, HBO Max’s DC Fandome trailers cover a legion of bases, including Doom Patrol, Titans, and Pennyworth.

Let’s start this article off with a real banger, shall we? Doom Patrol reimagines one of DC’s most beloved groups of superheroes who all suffered a horrible accident that gave them superhuman abilities but also left them scarred and disfigured. Part support group, part superhero team, the Doom Patrol is a band of superpowered freaks who fight for a world that wants nothing to do with them. In season three, the Doom Patrol is at a difficult crossroads and each member struggles to face who they are and who they want to be. And things get a whole lot more complicated when Madame Rouge arrives in a time machine with a very specific mission if only she could remember it.

Season three stars Brendan Fraser, Matt Boner, Diane Guerrero, April Bowlby, Jovian Wade, Timothy Dalton, Skye Roberts, and Michelle Gomez.

Last but certainly not least, there’s some very cool news for fans of Pennyworth.

The DC origin series Pennyworth follows Alfred Pennyworth (Jack Bannon), a former British SAS soldier, who forms a security company in 1960s London and foes to work with young billionaire Thomas Wayne (Ben Aldridge) before he becomes Bruce Wayne’s father. Season three of the psychological thriller also stars Emma Paetz, Paloma Faith, Ryan Fletcher, Dorothy Atkinson, Ramon Tikaram, Harriet Slater, and Simon Manyonda. Season three begins after a five-year time jump: the civil war is over, and a cultural revolution has changed the world for the better or worse – ushering in a new age of superheroes and supervillains.
