Batman: Wayne Family Adventures is not your average Batman comic. Instead of shining a bat signal on the worst of what Gotham has to offer, the comic serves as a slice-of-life story that’s sure to tickle your ribs as opposed to leaving them bruised and in need of bandages. In the comic, the Wayne family shows their affection for one another by competing with each other at the gym, fighting over the last cookie in Wayne Manor, or upholding family traditions that bring them closer together. I’ve read several episodes of the series on the Webtoon app since its debut, and I’ve loved every one of them. If you want to check the comic out for yourself, you can read it for free right here.

The series has been a massive hit on the Webtoon app, breaking multiple readership records for the series since its debut. As much as I love the mainline Batman series from James Tynion IV (and soon Joshua Williamson), it’s nice to have a cheerful Bat-series like Batman Family Adventures to fall back on when I’m in the mood for something less serious and heartwarming.
