Pretty Boy: Blind sequel clip goes into the killer’s lair – Exclusive!

Sometimes a sequel is absolutely necessary, and I feel that director Marcel Walz’s Pretty Boy, a follow-up to his “stylish, dreamy slasher” Blind (watch it HERE, read my review at THIS LINK), is one of those necessary sequels. Blind‘s ending left me hanging, anxious to know what was going to happen next, so I’m glad the story is being continued. Today we’re proud to share an EXCLUSIVE clip from Pretty Boy that gives a preview of what happened after Blind, revealing that our blind heroine (played by Sarah French) is now trapped in the killer’s lair. Check it out in the embed above!

Described as a “gloriously melodramatic suspense slasher”, Pretty Boy is about

a masked killer named Pretty Boy, who takes a blind woman from her home in the Hollywood hills and crashes a Valentine’s Day party where the bloodshed continues as he runs amok with his butcher knife. Expect disco lights, glitter, a killer soundtrack, and lots and lots of gore!

The film was written by Joe Knetter. French’s co-stars include Jed Rowen, Robert Felsted Jr., and Devanny Pinn.

Having made its world premiere at the Popcorn Frights Film Festival in August, Pretty Boy is now set to be shown during the Twin Cities Film Fest. The screening will be held at 9pm on October 22nd. You can find out more about Pretty Boy’s Midwest premiere and pick up tickets at the Twin Cities website.

Here’s what Walz had to say about the festival screening:

The Twin Cities Film Fest is phenomenal. We screened our film Blind there in 2019 and couldn’t have been more impressed with their professionalism and the quality of their festival. They are truly one of the best. It’s an honor to have our movie play alongside so many great films. To add to the experience, we are bringing a couple special guests. Jed Rowen, who plays Pretty Boy, will be there in costume for photos alongside Robert Felsted Jr. who plays Gary in the film.”
