Lord Of Illusions (1995) – The Black Sheep

It has been twenty-six years since Clive Barker directed a film. Lord Of Illusions (WATCH IT HERE) never got the same praise as Hellraiser did or the exploration and interest of Nightbreed. However, since the man only directed three films in his entire career, Lord Of Illusions still stands as a tremendous and unique entry. One that holds up exceptionally well to this day.

In this episode of The Black Sheep, we delve into the land of real magic, desert cults, and the legend that is Scott Bakula. Join us as we explore and praise Clive Barker’s Lord Of Illusions!

Written and directed by Clive Barker, Lord of Illusions stars Scott Bakula, Kevin J. O’Connor, Daniel von Bargen, Famke Janssen, and has the following synopsis:

A private detective gets more than he bargains for when he encounters Philip Swan, a performer whose amazing illusions captivate the world, but they are not really what everyone thinks.
