I love them Biblical stories when they’re mixed in with some good ole’ fashion Sci-fi fun, don’t you? Well if you answered yes, have I got the story for you! (Okay, that was my bad used car salesman impression) But seriously, who doesn’t like a little alien love when it comes to cracking open the “good book?” I guess the fellas over at Columbia Pictures agree with that, as they have decided to team with Neal Moritz to bring THE ARK to the big screen.

THE ARK originates from a series from Dark Horse Presents, the same comic-book brand that birthed Frank Miller’s SIN CITY. THE ARK tells the story of Noah and the Ark, except a UFO crash landing is thrown into the mix for good measure and great fun. Right now Mark Verheiden, creator of the Dark Horse story upon which it will be based has been chosen to write the screenplay. Dark Horse’s Mike Richardson will produce with Moritz, whose company just so happens to be based at Columbia. Let us know what you all think about this down below!
