Talk about a long time between films – as there is word now of a new POLTERGEIST film, and for a change it won’t be a remake…I repeat, this isn’t going to be a remake. Also, this isn’t going to be one of MGM’s straight to home video DVD releases, as they have been doing a lot of those recently.
POLTERGEIST writer Michael Grais is rumored to be penning the script for POLTERGEIST: IN THE SHADOWS. Also on the “rumor” side of the story, sources are saying that the film is in the “early stages of development right now.”
What do you guys think of this? All this time has passed and now studios are going for a new POLTERGEIST flick? I wouldn’t be surprised if they change their mind and make this a straight to home video release afterall.
