There are levels of shame and degradation that most people are fortunate enough to never know. And for the lucky sum who never reach those low, low levels, we get to laugh our asses off at those who do – so get ready to laugh. Everyone’s favorite director/punchline Uwe Boll has just hit an all time low: selling a role in his movie on Ebay. Yup, that’s right folks, the man can’t get a crappy actor to come and read for a part, so he has to auction off a role. And here is the kicker: nobody has bid on the role yet. In a vicious and savage town like Hollywood, where one actor would put a bullet through another person’s head for notoriety, nobody will bid on Mr. Boll’s movie role.
And do you blame a would-be actor for not wanting to bid on Boll’s auction? Why would you want to be in FAR CRY? – a first person shooter adaptation. But to compound matters, Boll set the auction at a starting price of $3,360 (European Equivalent) and the “winner” has to cover their own traveling and board expenses. I guess there isn’t a whole lot more for me to write except “WHAT THE F*CK!!!”
But if you’re feeling sympathetic to Boll’s cause, and have a lewd amount of money to waste, please be my guest.
