Scorpion King prequel?

Excuse me if you I don’t seem excited for this sure-fire suck-fest: a Dwayne Johnson-less prequel to the
SCORPION KING. There isn’t a whole lot more to say, you pretty much just read it: they are making a prequel to the SCORPION KING. and it is going to be titled THE SCORPION KING: RISE OF THE AKKADIAN. And Dwayne “If you smell what the Rock is cookin’” Johnson isn’t going to be in it because…well, why the hell would he need to do it.

As of right now the film is looking at an October 1st start date, but as of right now a search for an actor replacement is being conducted.
