Dark Knight Politics?

I guess the idea of making an appearance in THE DARK KNIGHT is too good for even politicians to pass up. This notion has been proven true with the news that Senator Patrick Leahy has been cast in the film and will share a scene with Christian Bale.

Evidently Leahy is a big comic-book fan and was an extra in BATMAN AND ROBIN (I’m surprised that didn’t cost him the election!).

The details of Leahy’s role in the film have not been revealed yet, but keep checking back here for more news.
