More Fox dvd sequels

With WRONG TURN 2 out on dvd now and the sequel to JOY RIDE in production, it was a wonder to see what Fox would continue to produce for their straight-to-dvd sequel line.

According to ShockTillYouDrop.com, Fox is very open to the idea of making a third WRONG TURN film, as well as more JOY RIDE sequels (3 and 4). You may slap yourself but, it’s true, depending on what will happen with the writer’s strike that is plaguing Hollywood right now.

So it looks like the sequel train will not stop, as the market for straight-to-dvd sequels is getting eaten by consumers at alarming rates. I suppose we’ll have to wait and see what will come of the strike before WRONG TURN 3: DON’T TAKE THAT LEFT comes out.
