Repossession Mambo cast

With stuff from REPO! THE GENETIC OPERA popping up within the last month, I totally forgot about REPOSSESSION MAMBO, a film dealing with the same idea as the Bousman directed flick.

Based on the novel by Eric Garcia, the film is set in the near future when artificial organs can be bought on credit, and revolves around a man who struggles to make the payments on a heart he has purchased. He must therefore go on the run before said ticker is repossessed.

Pretty close to REPO! right? Well anyways, B-D got a nice list of people that have joined the cast, along with Forest Whitaker, Jude Law and Alice Braga (above).

We just received word that Erin Lokitz, Yvette Nicole Brown, Tanya Clarke, Emily Lineham, Raoul Bhaneja, Chandler Canterbury, Lina So, Tiffany Espensen, Dorly Jean-LouiS, Joe Pingue, Simon Northwood, Laytrel McMullen and Christian Lloyd have joined Jude Law, Forest Whitaker, Alice Braga and Carice Van Houten in Universal Pictures’ Repossession Mambo.

The film will be released in 2009 and is being directed by Miguel Sapochnik from a script written by novelist Eric Garcia.
