With recent horror themed web series suddenly coming into play it’s no surprise that others will try to use the new medium for a variety of other uses. A couple of weeks ago Eric Walkuski talked about a similar concept from Special FX master Robert Kurtzman’s. It’s his own behind the scenes look into the world of special effects. No, it’s not fiction. It’s a weekly update in the day in the life of sort of deal. Sounds pretty interesting enough and if you get turned on by animatronics and prosthetics then this is definitely something that’s worth a look into.
Well coming to you straight from the source itself, Kurtzman’s CREATURE CORPS has unleashed a new episode onto the public. What makes this so special? CREATURE CORPS will go behind the scenes on how a movie is made and pretty much takes the Hollywood right out of it. The visit will include a BTS look at the first Midnight Syndicate Film called THE DEAD MATTER. You can check the trailer for the sucker right here! Haven’t kept up with DEAD MATTER news? Here’s a synopsis for ya: [The film] tells the story of a vampire relic with occult powers that falls into the hands of a grief-stricken young woman who will do anything to contact her dead brother.
So besides watching the series because for obvious reasons (seeing shit get blown up) there’s a lot of cool footage to be seen every week and some things are a bit cooler than others. Check out the web series by clicking here and then stay there to watch the latest episodes.
Here’s a shot of Kelly Brooks who stars in PIRANHA 3D coming to theaters today.
