Seeing the premiere for BURIED while underground is one thing but seeing THE DEAD MATTER on board the RMS Queen Mary is an entirely different story. If you’re in the neighborhood in the Southland and you’ve got seven bucks then head over to Long Beach and catch yourself a screening of THE DEAD MATTER.
The screening will be the largest DEAD MATTER cast reunion of the year which will also include a Q&A session, autograph signing and the first appearance from Edward Douglas of Midnight Syndicate in the West Coast. The screening will take place on September 18th (This saturday) at the Ghost Fest Expo 4. If you are going to attend THE DEAD MATTER will start at 7:00pm PST and tickets will be $7 each. They can be purchased at the door.
Following the film, Director Edward Douglas, stars Sean Serino, Tom Nagel, CB Spencer, Donna Williams and Meredith Beardmore will attend the Q&A session. Get a copy of THE DEAD MATTER DVD or bring your own and have them sign it at the meet and greet. It’s definitely a must that won’t cost an arm and a leg. If you’re already headed out of the door don’t forget to read the synopsis as a refresher for the film. Anyone already there?
A guilt-ridden young woman desperate to contact her deceased brother discovers a powerful ancient relic that controls the dead. Her dark obsession drags her into the tangled world of two warring vampire lords (Andrew Divoff of Lost, Wishmaster and Tom Savini of Friday the 13th, Dawn of the Dead), each with his own sinister plans for the artifact, and a vampire hunter (Jason Carter of Babylon 5), who will stop at nothing to destroy it. This chilling Gothic dark fantasy co-produced by Robert Kurtzman (creator of From Dusk Till Dawn, KNB FX) features a haunting score by Halloween musicians Midnight Syndicate. It’s a mix of classic horror themes with modern twists and a touch of dark humor that will keep you on the edge of your seat.
Take a ride on a different kind of Cruise. Penelope Cruz.
