Thora Birch and many others to star in Manson Girls!

Dig this, Bloody Disgusting has received word that will be a couple of casting and directorial changes to the latest little thriller called MANSON GIRLS. You’ve heard of this right? This is the flick that Eric Walkuski told us about back in early summer of of this year. Miss “livin’ la vida loca” Lohan had been signed on, kicked out, and now replaced in the span of a few months. That’s definitely living in the fast lane Lindsay. 

First off is the switching of captains. Susanna Lo will be replacing Matthew Bright as the writer and director of the film. Because Lohan had been given da’ boot she will be most likely replaced with Thora Birch (TRAIN, DEADLINE). She’ll be joining a full cast that includes Heather Matarazzo (HOSTEL: PART II), NIKKI BLONKSY, JENNIFER LANDON, ERIN KELLY AND MICHAEL MONKS. Cool beans.

With all the changes going on the flick will now be shooting February. Manson Girls follows a young girl from a wealthy Malibu family who fell under Manson’s spell. She was not one the “Family” members involved in the clan’s infamous murder spree, but Pitman was later imprisoned after she became involved with the Aryan Brotherhood and was convicted of being an accessory (after the fact) to murder.
