Rifftrax to riff up House on Haunted Hill this Halloween!

RIFFTRAX fans, this Halloween the RIFFTRAX crew will be doing another live broadcasting in select theaters. It’ll actually be on October 28th so if you’re free on that particular Thursday the cinemas is the place to be. The movie of choice? William Castle’s HOUSE ON HAUNTED HILL. Yeah, the ’59 flick that still managed to spank the remake after all those years. The film also stars legendary horror actor Vincent Price so why wouldn’t there be a reason to watch it?

Fredrick Loren and his fourth wife, Annabelle, have invited five people to the house for a “Haunted House” party. Whoever stays in the house for one night will earn $10,000 each. As the night progresses, all the guests are trapped inside the house with ghosts, murderers, and other terrors.

NCM Fathom and the stars (Alumni) of Mystery Science Theater 3000 invite you to a haunted house party like none you’ve ever experienced. RiffTrax’s own Michael J. Nelson, Kevin Murphy and Bill Corbett will be back for an evening of hilarious riffing on the horror classic House on Haunted Hill! On Thursday, October 28, the guys treat this Vincent Price classic to their signature brand of rapid-fire comedy. Comedian Paul F. Tompkins will join them as a guest riffer on a classic, never-before-seen short!

Apparently anyone who attends will see a cool URL on the screen that will enable them to win some cool “goodies.” Not too shabby for a ten dollar ticket.  The event will be on live to select theaters nationwide on October 28 at 8:00pm ET / 7:00pm CT / 6:00pm MT and 8:00pm PT.
