We aren’t the only ones excited for DON’T BE AFRAID OF THE DARK. A new international poster for the flick has popped up all the way from Poland, where it opens in September. With the exception of the most recent one sheet, all of the movie’s artwork has been cool and creepy, and this one is no exception.

The film, a remake of the 1973 TV movie of the same name, is directed by Troy Nixey. Guillermo del Toro (who also serves as producer) and his MIMIC co-writer Matthew Robbins penned the script. Bailee Madison, Guy Pearce and Katie Holmes (below) star. It hits theaters on August 26.

DON’T BE AFRAID OF THE DARK follows Sally, a young girl who moves to Rhode Island to live with her father and his new girlfriend in the 19th-century mansion they are restoring. Having stumbled upon the mansion’s hidden basement, Sally starts hearing voices calling out from the bolted ash pit, imploring her to open it. Sally obliges and unwittingly unleashes something so terrible, so unthinkable, that everyone’s life – hers most of all – is placed in immediate and grave danger.
