Alexander Skarsgard takes lead in Duffer brothers’ horror-thriller Hidden

Last Updated on July 23, 2021

Wow, maybe this does signify the end of “True Blood.”

You see, “True Blood” star Alexander Skarsgard (seen right) has just lined up a new starring gig in a flick called HIDDEN, which we first told you about in December. The flick, from twin brothers Matt and Ross Duffer, is a mysterious outbreak film set up at Warner Bros.

More specifically, HIDDEN is an elevated horror-thriller about a family hiding in a bomb shelter after escaping a mysterious outbreak.

Skarsgard will likely play the patriarch of the endangered family. Good for him getting a starring role, he’s been kicking around in bit parts for years. He appeared in STRAW DOGS and MELANCHOLIA last year, and has BATTLESHIP due this May…not to mention an additional three films in post, including the genre outing DISCONNECTED. Dude must be making papa Skarsgard (Stellan) proud!

More on HIDDEN when details pop up.
