You guys remember us telling you about a flick heading our way called AMERICAN MARY? No neither did I. But apparently we did… almost a year ago to the day! That’s the last update we got on MARY, which is coming at us courtesy of Jen and Sylvia Soska. That’s right folks, a sister directing duo. I can dig it!

Here we are a year later and we’ve finally got an update on the film! Well as much of an update as the flick’s first still can offer. You can scroll on down below to get a look at the new shot, which features our titular ‘Mary’ in one of her consultations. Oh yeah… sh*ts messed up!

AMERICAN MARY is the story of a medical student named Mary who is growing increasingly broke and disenchanted with medical school and the established doctors she once idolized. The allure of easy money sends a desperate Mary through the messy world of underground surgeries, which leaves more marks on her than the so-called freakish clientele.

See what I mean? Pretty tweaked, right? Katharine Isabelle (below) stars as the titular ‘Mary’ with Paula Lindberg and Tristan Risk also part of the cast. Coming from Twisted Twins Productions, AMERICAN MARY will be making it’s world wide market premiere at the Cannes Film Festival next week so expect more from this one soon.
