Ranking #2 on my personal list of most anticipated genre flicks of 2013 is EVIL DEAD, the dubious remake of Sam Raimi’s 1981 classic. As such, you can imagine how trepidatious I am watching the new red-band trailer for the flick we have below. F*ck spoilers and f*ck disappointment. I’ll leave it you all to scope out and report in the talk-backs!
Jane Levy (below), Shiloh Fernandez, Lou Taylor Pucci, Jessica Lucas and Elizabeth Blackmore star: In the much anticipated remake of the 1981 cult-hit horror film, five twenty-something friends become holed up in a remote cabin. When they discover a Book of the Dead, they unwittingly summon up dormant demons living in the nearby woods, which possess the youngsters in succession until only one is left intact to fight for survival.
EVIL DEAD comes a calling April 12th.
