Gemma Arterton and Anna Kendrick will hear The Voices along with Ryan Reynolds

THE VOICES is an odd project: a psychological thriller starring Ryan Reynolds about a talking cat and dog? Guess we’ll play along – especially now that two lovely ladies have been added to the strange proceedings.

Deadline.com reports that Gemma Arterton (BYZANTIUM; pictured below) and Anna Kendrick (UP IN THE AIR; pictured above) are set for the Marjane Satrapi-directed film, which was scripted by PARANORMAL ACTIVITY 2 scribe Michael R. Perry.

THE VOICES focuses on Jerry, a schizophrenic worker at a bathtub factory, who accidentally kills an attractive woman from accounting. While trying to cover his bloody tracks, Jerry starts taking advice from his “talking” sinister cat and benevolent dog.

Filming commences in Berlin soon.
