See No Evil 2 is coming, to be directed by Jen and Sylvia Soska!

WWE's SEE NO EVIL is a very guilty pleasure for this writer, so I hope you won't mind my excitement that a sequel is on the way. Yes indeed, WWE Studios and Lionsgate have just announced SEE NO EVIL 2 will go into production this fall under the direction of "Twisted Twins" Jen and Sylvia Soska (AMERICAN MARY, DEAD HOOKER IN A TRUNK). And that seems like a grimy match made in heaven.

Of course, WWE Superstar Kane, will reprise his lead role as reclusive madman Jacob Goodnight. Who the hell else possibly could?

See No Evil 2 revives the nightmare of the first film when Jacob Goodnight rises from the dead in the city morgue after his killing spree at the Blackwell hotel. In this ominous, underground locker for the dead, a group of medical students fight to survive as this deranged psychopath once again starts to pick them apart one by one.

Nathan Brookes and Bobby Lee Darby. co-wrote the script. Lionsgate will handle worldwide distribution of SEE NO EVIL 2, while WWE Studios will utilize its extensive global reach through television, digital and social media and print assets to market the film.

Now it just remains to be seen how in the hell they revive Jacob (spoiler alert: he died hard at the end of the first film), but of course that's just a horror movie formality.
