Here at AITH, we've never been shy about sharing our love for all things Danielle Harris. The uber-hot scream queen remains one of our favorite actresses and has most certainly proven she's got the chops to handle shite behind the camera with her directorial debut AMONG FRIENDS. She was recently announced as one of the female leads in the Soska Sisters upcoming SEE NO EVIL 2, her headhunting serial killer flick SHIVER hits the shelves next month, and she has the upcoming FEAR CLINIC: THE MOVIE on her slate. But in a recent interview with Diabolique Magazine the Scream Queen revealed that she may be putting her on-screen appearances on hold for a bit following SEE NO EVIL 2 and FEAR CLINIC, sharing…
"I’m going to take a break from doing movies for a bit as an actor to have a family and focus on directing. I didn’t want to go out of the business for a little bit without having been directed by these girls (the Soska's). I just want to know what it’s like to be the lead in a genre film and be directed by women. I wanted to see what that feels like because that’s what I’m going to do [as a director]."
Calm down, folks. She says it's just 'a break'. In the meantime, with Harris concentrating on directing I'm sure we can expect some surprises from her down the road. As long as she stays dabbling within our beloved genre I'll remain a happy boy.

Good luck, Danielle!
