The undead watch over these new stills from Dead Snow: Red vs. Dead

DEAD SNOW: RED VS. DEAD finished production not too long ago and now its currently dragging its undead legs into the Sundance Film Festival in January! With that we've got a couple of new images to show you folks, one of which features Martin Starr looking quite happy after presumably axing someone in the face. Nice! The first flick, DEAD SNOW, was a pretty entertaining piece of indie cinema with plenty of the red stuff, and while sequels rarely find the same success as the first film, I think director Tommy Wirkola has as good a chance as anyone to deliver a solid sequel. It's also pretty cool that he chose to follow-up his success of HANSEL AND GRETEL with a low budget zombie flick.

Shot in both English and Norwegian, the film goes something like this:

The gruesome Nazi Zombies are back to finish their mission, but our hero is not willing to die. He is gathering his own army to give them a final fight.

Vegar Hoel, Stig Frode Henriksen, Martin Starr, Ørjan Gamst, Ingrid Haas and Jocelyn DeBoer all star in the sequel to DEAD SNOW.
