We've been hearing about shock-rocker Marilyn Manson's PHANTASMAGORIA: THE VISIONS OF LEWIS CARROLL for years now, bringing you an early teaser for the film way back in 2010. Unfortunately, it was that very teaser that caused the film to shut down, with the studio behind the project pulling the plug on it due to the backlash from the teaser (which you can see below). But if you thought that would stop Manson from moving forward with the project then you were wrong…dead wrong.
Manson took to his Twitter account to share the following message:
Happy that my PHANTASMAGORIA screenplay, with me portraying Lewis Carroll, is in production. His diaries inspired the best horror film ever.

Hell yeah! I'm stoked!
No other details are available at this time, but hopefully we can expect something soon!
Victorian England. A haunted writer in an isolated castle is tormented by sleepless nights and visions of a girl named Alice. He finds himself becoming a symptom of his own invention. Now all his nightmares know his name. He is Lewis Carroll and he is terrified of what waits for him each night.
Check out the controversial teaser below and stay tuned for news regarding PHANTASMAGORIA as we hear it.
