Short film director Daniel Robbins just wrapped production on his feature film debut UNCAGED which will star THE SACRAMENT's Gene Jones. Below you'll find the first set of stills from the film, and while it's not necessarily a very exciting look at the upcoming thriller, it gives us a quick glance at a very intriguing project on the horizon. The film is said to take a page from SINISTER and couple found-footage elements with a traditional cinematic tone.
Joining Jones in the film will be Kyle Kirkpatrick, Ben Getz, Garrett Hendricks, and Michelle Cameron. UNCAGED was written by Robbins and Mark Rapaport—it goes something like this:
After several nights of waking up in the woods, a troubled teen straps a camera to himself to document how he’s getting there, only to find some things are better left a mystery…
UNCAGED is aiming for a debut later this year with BoulderLight Pictures representing the film for Worldwide Rights. It was produced by Jonathan Frager with Raphael Margules and J.D. Lifshitz serving as Executive Producers.
