We've had some interesting casting news come in over the past few weeks for Universal's JURASSIC WORLD, with Vincent D'Onofrio signing on for a villainous role and BD Wong set to return as Dr. Henry Wu, and today brings us some more news on the casting front as Deadline is reporting that THE INTOUCHABLES and X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST star Omar Sy has joined the already impressive cast list for Colin Trevorrow's high-profile sequel.
Sy joins Chris Pratt, Idris Elba, Bryce Dallas Howard, Jake Johnson and Irrfan Khan for the Steven Spielberg-produced film. The cast for JURASSIC WORLD is shaping up quite nicely, so hopes are high that director Trevorrow can deliver a fun entry in the JURASSIC PARK franchise.
Trevorrow is directing JURASSIC WORLD from a screenplay he wrote with Derek Connolly. Steven Spielberg, Frank Marshall and Pat Crowley are producing, and it is set for a 3D release June 12, 2015.
