Halston Sage is the latest to join Christopher Landon’s Scouts vs. Zombies

Right on the heels of Patrick Schwarzenegger landing a key role in director Christopher Landon's horror comedy SCOUTS VS. ZOMBIES is even more casting news as The Tracking Board reports that rising star Halston Sage (above) will join the film alongside the previously announced Tye Sheridan, Joey Morgan, Logan Miller and David Koechner. Sage’s role in the film is unknown at this time. Schwarzenegger, however, will play the popular high school quarterback who is a rival to the boy scout troop.

Here's a brief synopsis:

The film follows a Boy Scout troop that must use their skills to battle vicious zombies after their small town suddenly becomes infected.

Todd Garner, Andy Fickman, Betsy Sullenger and Bryan Brucks are producing the project, which is scheduled to begin shooting on May 8.
