Just the other day we were privy to the UK trailer and poster for Alexandre Aja’s HORNS, starring Daniel Radcliffe and based upon the novel by Joe Hill. We also learned that day the film was set to hit theaters overseas on Halloween, but didn’t have an idea when it would wash up on our shores. But that changes today, with news of a domestic date as well as a new poster (see it below).
As you probably could have guessed, HORNS comes out here on October 31st. Fairly perfect release date for a flick about a guy who turns into a demon, wouldn’t you say?
Ignatius Perrish spent the night drunk and doing terrible things. He woke up the next morning with a thunderous hangover, a raging headache . . . and a pair of horns growing from his temples.
At first Ig thought the horns were a hallucination, the product of a mind damaged by rage and grief. He had spent the last year in a lonely, private purgatory, following the death of his beloved, Merrin Williams, who was raped and murdered under inexplicable circumstances. A mental breakdown would have been the most natural thing in the world. But there was nothing natural about the horns, which were all too real.
Juno Temple, Joe Anderson, Kelli Garner, Max Minghella, James Remar, David Morse and Heather Graham all co-star in HORNS. Trick r treat!
