THE GUEST is coming, and he's bringing trouble with him.
Earlier this month Picturehouse announced a September 17 release date for THE GUEST in the U.S, which comes at us from director Adam Wingard, writer Simon Barrett and Snoot Entertainment’s Keith Calder and Jessica Calder. Now we've landed another poster, this time from the U.K., for the thriller, but if you were worried about THE GUEST's intentions don't even sweat it…he's here to help, according to this new artwork.
The film stars Dan Stevens of “Downton Abbey” fame, with Maika Monroe, Brendan Meyer, Sheila Kelley, Leland Orser, and Lance Reddick (“American Horror Story”) joining in on the wicked fun. The story concerns…
… a young soldier who arrives on the doorstep of the Peterson family, claiming to be a good friend of their beloved son who died in action. The Petersons welcome David into their home and into their lives, but when people start mysteriously dying in town, mayhem ensues as their teenage daughter Anna starts wondering if David is responsible.
This one sounds like it could be one hell of a twisted tale, and after YOU'RE NEXT I'm always down for more from Wingard and Barrett. Look for THE GUEST to arrive in the U.S. on September 17.
