Olivier Beguin’s vampire tale Chimeres hits VOD next week

When it comes to the vampire genre, you want it to be a little bloody, right? As far as the red stuff goes, Olivier Beguin's feature debut looks to have plenty of that to go around, that's for sure. We’ve been keeping close tabs on Beguin's romantic shocker CHIMERES over the last few months, and now we’ve finally got word on when we can actually check it out. Here’s the synopsis:

While on holidays in Romania with his girlfriend Livia, Alexandre is hit by a car. He is rushed to the hospital where he has to undergo a blood transfusion. On his return home he seems to be suffering from a strange disease, convinced that contaminated blood is running through his veins. After all isn’t Romania the land of legendary bloodsuckers? Livia has to face Alexandre’s increasingly strange behaviour and does all she can to save their floundering relationship.

Jasna Kohoutova and Yannick Rosset take on the leading roles of Livia and Alexandre in the film.
