Jena Malone heads to the Bottom of the World

THE HUNGER GAMES star Jena Malone and TERMINATOR GENISYS up-and-comer Douglas Smith will star in the indie horror flick BOTTOM OF THE WORLD, according to Deadline. Richard Sears (BONGWATER) will direct.

The plot:

Malone and Smith play Scarlett and Alex, a young couple who stop at a desert motel on their way to start a new life in L.A. When she vanishes, Alex desperately tries to find her but is plunged into a nightmarish world where he finally realizes that he must be in a dream — but he is not the dreamer.

Brian Gottlieb penned the screenplay; shooting commences September 1st in Ottawa. That’s all we have on this sucker for now but stay tuned because we’ll be tracking it hard!
