Details on JoBlo’s 3rd Annual Halloween Costume Contest!

There's never been a question as to which holiday reigns supreme for fans of horror. There's no time of year quite like Halloween. The house is decorated, the pumpkins are carved, and our favorite horror films have been our nightly entertainment as we get ourselves into the spirit of the haunting season. Oh, and the costumes…yes, I'm sure you've been planning your Halloween costume for months, and this weekend you get to show off your creepy and clever ensemble as you trick or treat through the neighborhood (you still trick or treat, right?) before hitting up the Halloween parties and gatherings for some more adult fun.

Our brothers at JoBlo are equally excited about Halloween and are bringing us their 3rd Annual Halloween Costume Contest, and you should definitely be a part of this! Some truly great entries were submitted last year (you can check out the full gallery of last year's entries HERE), and this year promises to be even better. So how do you participate? Read on for the details!

How to Participate

Make sure that you include your name and e-mail address so we can contact you if you're a winner and please keep your file sizes 5MB or less.

Did you say Prize?

The biggest prize, of course, is having fun and sharing your awesome costumes with fellow readers, but based on all your entries, we'll choose one winner, the best of the best who will be awarded an awesome JoBlo.com-related T-shirt of their choosing along with a $100 gift card from Amazon.com. But, that's not all! But, that's not all! After we've chose our winner, we’d like your help in choosing the 2 runners-ups, so we will post a gallery of the best of the best of the entries and ask for your help for the 2nd and 3rd prize winners, who will each receive a JoBlo.com T-shirt of their choosing or the JoBlo.com book!

Rules? What Rules??

All photos MUST be submitted by 9 p.m. on Monday, November 3rd. We'll post the winner and all the best entries on Wednesday, November 5th! We'll be selecting costumes based on originality, design, coolness factor, and overall creativity. We don't need "photoshoot" quality here, just good ol' fashioned snapshots. Also, please include your NAME and E-MAIL with your submitted photo, just in case you're the winner!
