Producer-director Mick Garris has been poking into his archives and delivering some very cool vintage interviews via his YouTube channel. Last month we brought along his 1980 chat with Jamie Lee Curtis, and today we’ve got another fascinating interview from that same year.

Below you’ll see Mick talking to Scatman Crothers, who of course played Dick Hallorann in Stanley Kubrick’s THE SHINING. The two converse about Kubrick’s demanding ways, Scatman’s musical days and his long history in Hollywood. Oh, and you won’t want to miss Scatman’s song for Kubrick!
