Scarlett Johansson to star in The Psychopath Test

The gorgeous Scarlett Johansson will explore the ugly world of deadly psychopaths in the Jay Roach-directed adaptation of Jon Ronson’s book THE PSYCHOPATH TEST, which will see Kristin Gore pen the script. While the book explores the concept of psychopathy and the mental health industry, the film is being pegged as a psychological thriller, so it'll be interesting to see how close they stick to the pages on this one. Ronson also wrote the wonderfully weird THE MEN WHO STARE AT GOATS.

THE PSYCHOPATH TEST tackles how the medical community tries to diagnose and classify an elusive group: remorseless, deadly psychopaths. They say one out of every hundred people is a psychopath, devoid of empathy, manipulative, deceitful, charming, seductive, and delusional. The book explores their world and the madness industry.

Brian Grazer will produce along with Roach and his Everyman Pictures banner, and Finola Dwyer and Amanda Posey. Erica Huggins and Jennifer Perini will be exec producers.
