The next major horror entry this summer has to offer is THE GALLOWS, the Blumhouse-produced found footage flick from directors Travis Cluff and Chris Lofing. The film doesn’t come out until July but Warner Bros. has decided to heat up anticipation by putting the opening sequence online today! Check it out below; loosen your tie before you do.

Twenty years after an accident caused the death of the lead actor during a high school play, students at the same small town school resurrect the failed stage production in a misguided attempt to honour the anniversary of the tragedy—but ultimately find out that some things are better left alone.

THE GALLOWS opens July 10th in the U.S., July 17th in the U.K.
