Any material regarding The X-Files reboot is pretty much instantly awesome, but I must admit the charcoal grey character posters we've been getting are a little generic. Luckily, now that we've pretty throroughly covered who the hell is going to be in the show, the eerie alien atmosphere is stepping into the light. These three new poster images are abstract and stunning, calling back to traditional X-Files images and themes. Check them out below!
The series premiere, "My Struggle", centers on Mulder (David Duchovny) and Scully (Gillian Anderson) investigating Annet Mahendru's character, who is believed to be a "possible alien abductee," according to Joel McHale's character, a conservative talk show host who gives Mulder and Scully the tip to investigate her.
The X-Files crew is joined by Bruce Harwood, Tom Braidwood, Dean Haglund, Robbie Amell, Lauren Ambrose, Rhys Darby, and Kumail Nanjiani. The X-Files will beam onto Fox with a six-episode season on January 24, 2016.
