Alexandra Park plunges into The Deep End

Actress Alexandra Park, best known for her role as Princess Eleanor on the E! television series The Royals, has signed on to star in the thriller THE DEEP END, which Matt Eskandari (GAME OF ASSASSINS) will be directing from a screenplay he wrote with Michael Hultquis.

Park will be playing one of 

two sisters who become trapped under the fiberglass cover of a public pool.

You'd expect something like that to be the description of a scene in a film rather than a whole film in itself. I'll be interested in seeing how Eskandari manages to build a feature from that set-up.

THE DEEP END is being produced by Mark Myers of Citizen Skull Productions and will begin filming in Los Angeles this month.
