Jeepers Creepers 3 casting notice is axed from Breakdown Services

There is perhaps no modern horror series more controversial than the JEEPERS CREEPERS flicks. JEEPERS CREEPERS and its sequel, directed by Victor Salva and released in 2001 and 2003, are some of the better entries in early 2000's teen horror. However, the director's 1988 conviction of statutory rape of the 12-year-old star of his film CLOWNHOUSE casts a pall over the films, which put Salva in the room with many young actors and seemed to draw some eerie paralells with the lurking predatory creature that was the series' villain.

However, JEEPERS CREEPERS 3 is nevertheless in production, to the point that a casting notice (looking for an 18-year-old actresss to play Addison, "who at the age of 13 had been sent to live with her grandmother after her stepfather started making overtures to her.") has been posted on the popular casting web site Breakdown Services.

When the Union of British Columbia Performers found out about the notice, they issued an alert to talent agents, causing the site to remove the posting, saying, "Upon learning of this notice and our own verification of the facts surrounding Salva’s conviction, Breakdown Services has removed this project from its files. All submissions made by any agent on this project are no longer available to the casting director nor any member of the production staff.”

Here's the plot:

JEEPERS CREEPERS 3 will show events on the last day of the Creeper’s twenty-three day feeding frenzy, as the skeptical Sergeant Tubbs teams up with a task force hellbent on destroying the Creeper for good. The Creeper fights back in gory glory as its enemies grow closer than ever before to learning the secret of its dark origins.

According to Dark Universe Horror Database, the story will also focus on Gaylen:

Twenty three years ago Gaylen’s son Kenny Brandon was one of the Creeper’s victims. Leaving in this shattered woman a burning vendetta. When her long dead son starts to appear to her with warnings about the creature who killed him – Gaylen plots to use the information to end the creature once and for all.
