Carla Juri joins Ryan Gosling and Harrison Ford in Blade Runner 2

BLADE RUNNER 2's cast is coming together quite nicely. With a host of established stars as well as promising up-and-comers, all helmed by SICARIO director Dennis Villenueve, this is promising to be a decades-later sequel that might actually be worth the wait.

That ace crew has now been joined by Carla Juri, a Swiss actress who is best known for the controversial German film WETLANDS, though she has been working in Europe since 2010's 180°. She'll also be appearing later this year in BRIMSTONE, which stars Kit Harington and Dakota Fanning.

One of the truly interesting things about BLADE RUNNER 2 is how well the casting has crossed international lines to bring talent that isn't necessarily recognized here in the States just yet. Of course, that's all about to change once the film hits theaters next year.

BLADE RUNNER 2 stars Ryan Gosling, Robin Wright, Ana de Armas, Sylvia Hoeks, Dave Bautista, and Harrison Ford, returning in his original role as Rick Deckard. The screenplay is being penned by Hampton Fancher and Michael Green, from a story by Ridley Scott and Fancher.

The film will run into theaters on October 6, 2017.
