Sid Haig, Scout Taylor-Compton, and Robert LaSardo star in Cynthia

Filming has begun on the Girls and Corpses Presents production CYNTHIA, a dark horror/comedy, and a few pictures have been released to give us our first look at stars Sid Haig, Scout Taylor-Compton, and Robert LaSardo in the movie.

Directed by Kenny Gage and Devon Downs from a screenplay by Robert Rhine, CYNTHIA is about 

the ‘perfect’ couple and their desperate obsession to have a child which descends into a terrifying dark comedy.

Rhine, who fully financed the film himself, is producing with Gage and Downs. Ted Chalmers is executive producing, with Zach Coutroulis serving as co-producer.

Haig, Taylor-Compton, and LaSardo's co-stars include Rhine, Kyle Jones, Rebecca Marshall, James O'Halloran, and horror icons Lynn Lowry, James Karen, and Bill Moseley.

Gage and Downs previously worked with LaSardo on the horror film ANARCHY PARLOR, which was released last year.

CYNTHIA sounds like a very interesting project and it's got a hell of a cast, so we'll definitely be keeping an eye on it as it continues to progress.
