George Lazenby, Maud Adams, and Nazi zombies coming to DVD in Hell Hunters

One time James Bond George Lazenby (ON HER MAJESTY'S SECRET SERVICE) plays a villain opposite two time Bond girl Maud Adams (THE MAN WITH THE GOLDEN GUN, OCTOPUSSY) as a heroic character in director Ernst R. von Theumer's HELL HUNTERS, a 1986 B-movie that has been unearthed and given an HD restoration by Film Chest Media Group.

Also starring Stewart Granger and Candice Daly, the film tells a story involving Nazi zombies in the South American jungle.

Wanted for war crimes, Nazi zealot Dr. Martin Hoffmann (Granger) has been hiding deep in the jungle of Paraguay for 40 years. Searching for a weapon powerful enough to restore his dream of Aryan domination, the evil scientist experiments with the venom of a poisonous spider and creates a mind-controlling serum. With his cohort, Heinrich (Lazenby), Hoffmann forms a plan to test his concoction on the population of Los Angeles while a dedicated band of Nazi hunters, led by the beautiful Amanda (Adams), is rapidly closing in on them. Who will win this deadly game of hide and seek? 

This certainly sounds like a wonderful chunk of cheese. I can't pass up the chance to watch an '80s action/horror zombie movie starring 007 alumni.

Film Chest will be releasing HELL HUNTERS on DVD July 5th.
