Tim Burton Eva Green Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children

Before the month is out, the latest Tim Burton film will be playing on the big screen. Sporting the lengthy title MISS PEREGRINE'S HOME FOR PECULIAR CHILDREN, it's an adaptation of the best-selling novel by Ransom Riggs, which tells the following story:

When Jake discovers clues to a mystery that spans alternate realities and times, he uncovers a secret refuge known as Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children. As he learns about the residents and their unusual abilities, Jake realizes that safety is an illusion, and danger lurks in the form of powerful, hidden enemies. Jake must figure out who is real, who can be trusted, and who he really is.

Jane Goldman, no stranger to writing adaptations (her credits include the comic book films KICK-ASS, X-MEN: FIRST CLASS, and KINGSMAN: THE SECRET SERVICE), wrote the screenplay.

Eva Green plays the Miss Peregrine of the title, co-starring with Asa Butterfield, Ella Purnell, Allison Janney, Terence Stamp, Rupert Everett, Judi Dench, and Samuel L. Jackson.

You'll be able to visit MISS PEREGRINE'S HOME FOR PECULIAR CHILDREN in theatres on September 30th, and to help you decide whether or not this is something you'd like to venture out for, a few clips are now available that give a look at scenes from the film.

The first clip shows Miss Peregrine giving a tour of the refuge property and introducing some of the children who live there. The tour continues in the second clip, as Peregrine discusses the ability to create time loops. The last clip features Samuel L. Jackson's villainous character, with Jackson delivering a performance and dropping lines which may remind you that, above all else, this is a movie aimed at kids.
