Back in August, we brought you the news that writer/director Mark Allen Michaels' zombie movie VALENTINE DAYZ had begun filming. The project had wrapped by the end of that month, and now we already have an early trailer to share that gives a look at what Michaels has in store for viewers. Described as being a "heart stopping horror story", VALENTINE DAYZ is apparently aiming to stop hearts with laughter, because the amount of humor present in the trailer makes it clear that this will be standing apart from the darker, more nihilistic entries in the sub-genre.
A poster created by artist Aaron Kai has also been released online and can be seen below.
Produced by Staci Layne Wilson and Kate Rees Davies, VALENTINE DAYZ is the story of a group of people going on
a journey from the champagne and yacht lifestyles of the rich and corrupt, to doom and despair in Death Valley as the zombie-apocalypse threatens everything they hold dear.
Carrie Keagan, Dallas Valdez, Diane Ayala Goldner, Curt Lambert, and Robert Allen Mukes star.
VALENTINE DAYZ will be released sometime in 2017.
