The Resident Evil franchise will be resurrected on steelbook Blu-Ray

RESIDENT EVIL: THE FINAL CHAPTER is coming out in January, and you know what that means… No, not that this will be the final RESIDENT EVIL anymore. We know better than to think any horror franchise is truly over. But the "final" entry in any movie franchise is an excuse to stock up on slick re-releases of the other entries in the franchise.

Best Buy is taking us up on this tradition, releasing all five RESIDENT EVIL movies on steelbook Blu-Ray on January 17, 2017. Each Blu comes with $7.50 toward a ticket purchase for the new film! It doesn't look like they'll be stocking up on special features, but this will help you fill in any gaps in your collection as you prep for the new film, out on January 27th.

Alice (Milla Jovovich) awakes in Raccoon City, only to find it has become infested with zombies and monsters. With the help of Jill Valentine (Sienna Guillory) and Carlos Olivera (Oded Fehr), Alice must find a way out of the city before it is destroyed by a nuclear missile.

Captured by the Umbrella Corp., Alice (Milla Jovovich) receives genetic alterations that leave her with superhuman abilities.
