The J-horror monster mash SADAKO VS. KAYAKO, which finds the supernatural villains of the RINGU and JU-ON (THE RING and THE GRUDGE) franchises crossing paths, will be available for viewing through the Shudder streaming service as of tomorrow, January 26th. To whet your appetite, today we have an EXCLUSIVE CLIP from the film that provides a minute long look at some of the horror it contains.
Appropriately titled "Attack", this clip focuses on two young kids who are clearly not having a very good night. Just when you might start wondering if either of the title characters are going to show up at all, meowing kids and grabby hands arrive on the scene.
Directed by Kôji Shiraishi, SADAKO VS. KAYAKO has the following synopsis:
Tina Tamashiro stars as Suzuka Takagi, a girl who carries Kayako's curse after exploring the abandoned house, while Mizuki Yamamoto plays Yûri Kurahashi, a girl caught between Sadako and Kayako.
