Laurie packs .357 magnum on Blumhouse Halloween set

The last word we brought you about Blumhouse's upcoming sequel to John Carpenter's HALLOWEEN was when we let you know that Rob Niter and Rhian Rees had joined the cast.

Today we have news that Jamie Lee Curtis' character Laurie Strode will be packing heat in the new HALLOWEEN. And a .357 magnum at that! That's what she means by "357", right?

HALLOWEEN (2018) synopsis:

Jamie Lee Curtis returns to her iconic role as Laurie Strode, who comes to her final confrontation with Michael Myers, the masked figure who has haunted her since she narrowly escaped his killing spree on Halloween night four decades ago.

The film is directed by David Gordon Green from a script by Green and Danny McBride and stars Jamie Lee Curtis, Andi Matichak, Judy Greer, James Jude Courtney, and Nick Castle.

Blumhouse's HALLOWEEN hits theaters October 19, 2018.
