Writer/director Rob Zombie first worked with actor Richard Brake when he had Michael Myers slice off the man's head in HALLOWEEN II. The next time they worked together, Zombie tried to turn Brake into "the next great villain of horror" by giving him the role of Doom-Head in 31 (pictured above). Now Zombie and Brake have teamed up for a third collaboration, as Brake has a role in 3 FROM HELL, the sequel to HOUSE OF 1000 CORPSES and THE DEVIL'S REJECTS.
While we don't know what sort of character Brake is playing in 3 FROM HELL, we do know the character's name and what he looks like. Zombie shared a shot of him in the film on his Instagram account and captioned it: "Here's your first look at Winslow Foxworth Coltrane aka Foxy played by @richbrake. How does he figure into all of this? Only time will tell."
There's not much to go on in the shot of Foxy, but if you want to see what Richard Brake looks like in 3 FROM HELL, there you are.
Zombie also recently shared a shot of Danny Trejo, who reprises his THE DEVIL'S REJECTS role of bounty hunter Rondo in the film, and a behind-the-scenes picture of Bill Moseley and Sheri Moon Zombie (who are back as the homicidal maniacs Otis and Baby). Those images are embedded below, along with the Brake picture.
Moseley, Moon Zombie, Brake, and Trejo are joined in the cast by Jeff Daniel Phillips, Dee Wallace, Pancho Moler, Austin Stoker, Emilio Rivera, David Ury, Tom Papa, Dot-Marie Jones, Richard Edson, Richard Riehle, Kevin Jackson, Billy Blair, Steven Michael Quezada, Bill Oberst Jr., Sylvia Jefferies, Sean Whalen, Clint Howard, Daniel Roebuck, and Sid Haig as Captain Spaulding.
A synopsis for the film is not available, but images indicate that it will begin with Otis, Baby, and Spaulding locked up in prison, having survived the shootout at the end of THE DEVIL'S REJECTS.
3 FROM HELL is expected to be released sometime in 2019. Zombie will begin editing the film in September.
