Like most human beings out there, I'm counting down the days until I can check out director Luca Guadagnino’s remake of Dario Argento's SUSPIRIA. And one of the main reasons I'm so intrigued by this new version of the classic film is the score by Radiohead's Thom Yorke.
And if you're as intrigued by what Yorke has in store for us within the musical landscapes of this new SUSPIRIA as I am, then you'll be excited to know that you can find out today! Yes, Yorke just released the first track from his SUSPIRIA score called Suspirium. Yorke released the track over on YouTube, and you can check it out below. After giving the music video a look-see below, make sure to hit us up and let us know what you think!
Scripted by David Kajganich, the new take on SUSPIRIA stars Dakota Johnson, Tilda Swinton, Mia Goth, Lutz Ebersdorf, Jessica Harper and Chloë Grace Moretz. The synopsis:
A darkness swirls at the center of a world-renowned dance company, one that will engulf the troupe's artistic director (Swinton), an ambitious young dancer (Johnson), and a grieving psychotherapist (Ebersdorf). Some will succumb to the nightmare. Others will finally wake up.
The remake is rated R for "disturbing content involving ritualistic violence, bloody images, and graphic nudity, and for some language including sexual references." Amazon Studios will be giving Guadagnino's SUSPIRIA a theatrical release in New York and Los Angeles on October 26, with the film expanding nationwide on November 2, 2018.
