The 25th film in the James Bond franchise had been scheduled to be released on November 8, 2019, until director Danny Boyle dropped off the project. Boyle has since been replaced by Cary Joji Fukunaga and BOND 25 is set to come out on February 14, 2020, but if you're a fan of current Bond star Daniel Craig you can still look forward to seeing him in a new movie in November of 2019.
Lionsgate has picked up the distribution rights to writer/director Rian Johnson's star-studded murder mystery KNIVES OUT and is planning to release the movie on November 27, 2019.
Said to be inspired by the works of Agatha Christie, KNIVES OUT is described as
a contemporary version of the locked door mansion murder mystery, in the classic whodunit style.
Craig plays the detective investigating the murder and is joined in the cast by Chris Evans, Jamie Lee Curtis, Toni Collette, Lakeith Stanfield, Michael Shannon, Don Johnson, Ana de Armas, Christopher Plummer, Jaeden Lieberher, Riki Lindhome, Edi Patterson, Raúl Castillo, Katherine Langford, and Noah Segan.
Financed by MRC, KNIVES OUT was produced by Johnson and Ram Bergman.
I'm anxious to see BOND 25, but the release of KNIVES OUT will make the extra three month wait easier to get through.
