Cinematical reported it a little while ago and now Variety is confirming that one-time Kevin Spacey lust object Mena Suvari along with Jack Huston, Caterina Murino and Richard E. Grant have joined the cast of the upcoming John Irvin-directed drama THE GARDEN OF EDEN, an adaptation of the Ernest Hemingway novel of the same name. The story centers on a successful Jazz-era American novelist whose extended honeymoon across Europe takes a turn for the worst when his hot young wife, played by Suvari, decides to unleash her inner sex freak and invites recent Bond girl Murino to play some kinky sex games with them. Suvari can next be seen in the zombie horror DAY OF THE DEAD, Rawson Marshall Thurber’s Michael Chabon-adapted dramedy MYSTERIES OF PITTSBURGH and voicing a character in the video game “Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII”.
